Eugenia Almeida, an artist and business owner, has built a vibrant career centered around her passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and community. Born and raised in Argentina, Eugenia moved to the United States over thirty years ago while her husband pursued his career at the University of Tennessee. She settled in Knoxville, where she raised five children and eventually founded her company, A New Hue, in 2014.

A New Hue specializes in faux finishes, plasters, concrete overlays, original stencils, and more. Headquartered in North Knoxville, Eugenia has not only worked for renowned clients such as Altar’d State, Saks 5th Avenue, Lululemon, and Cotton On, but she has also established a strong local presence with projects for The Tennessean, Cleo Hotel, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and Xul Brewery, as well as collaborating with local designers and contractors on many residential projects. Her dedication to both artistry and business extends beyond her own projects, as she continually invests in learning and teaching new techniques from around the world
